Ramadan 2018 in Dubai has come and so you’ve probably been receiving invites to share Iftar with
your Muslim friends, brothers, and sisters. But what does Iftar really mean?

Iftar is the evening meal shared by Muslims that marks their fast during Ramadan. It is their second meal of the day-one during pre-dawn which is called the Suhoor and second is the Iftar, which occurs around sunset.

During Iftar, you can observe people giving away free meals to people as form of charity. It is believed
that Prophet Muhammad practiced that same form of charity and people of today emulate.
